I have tried a few things here, including the doner kebab and chicken and mushroom pie. The doner kebab was a bit too salty, and I tend to like things on the salty side. Fortunately, the veggie toppings were fresh. The pie turned out to be one of those packaged deals, though surprisingly good. Chips were so so, though I'm not the biggest fan of the meaty style British chips.
+1 star for customer service, which was consistently friendly. -

Staff is friendly, prices are cheap, food came out fast. The fish was great - definitely fresh, but the fries could have been crispier and thinner. My SO and I love trying food we've never had before for shits and gigs so we ordered the fried sausage and steak and kidney pie (why not when in London?!) and they basically tasted like a fried hog and a steak pie lol

Unbelievably expensive, there's nothing wrong with the quality however. To be asked to pay £6 for one piece of fried fish to take away is just excessive so I won't be going back. I hate being taken for a ride!

Nothing really good or bad about this spot - stayed up the road in King's Cross and this was my first meal in the area. The price is fair and the food is good, but not great. It is filling and leaves you feeling good, my only complaint was the fish had quite a bit of skin still left on and a bit of fatty bits to it. But they fry it up and serve it up with some chips, and it gets the job done just fine. No line was a plus and the waitstaff were very helpful.

What to say about this place.
First off I found the staff rude. I do appreciate that English is not the first language but speaking to people like they are dirt just isn't good for business.
Communication seems to consist of being grunted at and piercing stares if you dare do question the meagre portion size.
Maybe it was good news that the portion size was so small as it was virtually inedible. Cold chips with no taste cooked beyond their life.
I should have known better. Avoid at all costs.
